Marc Brown’s Successful Career as an Author and Illustrator
Marc Brown, an American author and children’s book illustrator, has a net worth of $40 million. He is best known for creating the Arthur series and its many spin-offs. Brown has won three Emmy Awards and the Arthur television series ranked #1 on PBS in 1997, 2000, and 2001. He became the executive producer of the series in its 10th season.
Brown began his career as a TV art director, a truck driver, and a college professor. In 1976, he published his first Arthur book, Arthur’s Nose. His works include the Arthur Adventure series, Arthur audiobooks, beginner books, chapter books, Good Sport chapter books, and more.
